[Power steering rack oil and fluid are not mixed]

When the steering gear needs to be refueled due to maintenance or other reasons, the specified power steering fluid must be added, and no power steering fluid other than the specified one or other fluids should be used for mixing.

[Don’t forget to change the oil on time]

The power steering gear must be changed after the first 3,000Km of driving, and every 20,000Km after that, and the specified power steering fluid must be replaced during the oil change.

[Standard torque is important]

When repairing the steering gear, the coupling parts must be tightened according to the specified maintenance tightening torque.

[Regular inspection is indispensable]

The steering system must be checked regularly, at least once in 5000 Km:

① the coupling parts cannot be loosened within the specified torque range, and the ball pins cannot be loosened;

② the steering function is normal.

[Refueling exhaust needs to be noted]

The oil tank shall be checked regularly for oil level, at least once for 5000Km. If the oil does not reach the specified level, refuel the tank according to the following refueling and exhaust methods.

1、When refueling the steering gear, choose the power steering fluid as required and add it to the tank. Support the front axle, turn the steering wheel left and right several times, and then refuel. Start the engine idle, turn the steering wheel left and right several times (full range), then add oil to the tank, turn the steering wheel when there are no air bubbles and the oil level does not drop to stop.

※Note: the oil level can be added to the scale line requirements, not more, so as not to affect the exhaust effect.

2、After refueling and exhausting the tank of the oil pump according to the above method, start the engine until the power steering fluid reaches the specified level, and then turn off the engine.

3、Conduct a car road test to confirm whether the steering system functions normally.

4、When using the steering gear, attention should be paid to.

① The new steering rack should be checked for clean fluid and impurities after the test run. If there are impurities in the fluid, the fluid should be updated and the steering system should be cleaned.

② The new car should be checked after a break-in to see that the steering part linkage screws cannot be loosened within the specified torque range.

[Limit dwell is not advisable]

The steering wheel should not stay in the steering limit position for more than 5 seconds to avoid damaging the steering oil pump.

[Avoid bumping don’t smash]

When replacing the steering gear should pay attention to the following issues:

① Do not touch the mounting surface;

② Do not violently disassemble the rocker arm used in each coupling.
